Hello, everyone. I'm writing yet another blog; this one about videogame-related projects on LEGO CUUSOO. There are a lot of them, and so, if you want these projects to become reality, you can just vote for them. It's free.
So first, I'll start with projects that have already reached 10,000 votes:
Yes, Mojang themselves published and advertised this project... and since then it has been released as a set, with two more sets on the way. :D
This was the second videogame related project to reach 10,000; it was rejected in Review though. It's based on the popular EVE Online MMORPG.
Ah, when I see this project the Legend of Zelda "Title Theme" pops up in my head. Sadly, this was rejected in Review because of all the new molds... but this was not the last Zelda project, as you will see.
This project... it's still under Review. Which is interesting, because the other projects in the Review were decided on. So, we don't really know if it will pass or not... but it sure is cool.
Though not quite related to videogames, this Bugdroid model is neat, and I thought I'd mention him because he's related to Androids, and Androids are related to mobile gaming, and mobile gaming... well, you get the point. This guy is still in Review.
This is like, my favorite Zelda project on CUUSOO. And that's saying a LOT, as you will later see. So much work was put into this one; it's really awesome and I am so hoping it passes Review. (It's under Review right now.)
Commonly referred to as LoL, the League of Legends MMORPG was the basis for this project, which is accurately called LoLoL (League of Legends of LEGO.) This made it into Review just a little while ago... June 3rd is the date when this project began the Review process.
Just having reached Achieved status, this project is based off of a cool RPG-style computer game. I love the ships.
This project is currently the most supported active project on LEGO CUUSOO. The creators of Poptropica themselves are advertising this, and if you don't know what Poptropica is; it is a children's MMORPG. Interestingly, this is also the only active project on LEGO CUUSOO to have its comments section closed down because of off-topic comments.
This is a really awesome Zelda project. It's at least my second favorite Zelda project; and it's in fierce competition for first. I mean, check out that detail!
Even though it says for 3DS on the link I put, the full title is "for 3DS & other devices." Yes, 3DS is the highlight, and LEGO Digital Designer would be simply awesome on my 3DS XL. But if possible, the idea is that LDD would be available on 3DS, Android, iPad, PSVita, and iPhone. Sure, the creator did not put any actual work into designing the software. But he came up with some control ideas. And I would really like it to happen, so I'm supporting.
More Minecraft! This one is centered on items and creatures rather than a particular diorama.
These are pretty cool. I've never played the game, so I can't say too much about accuracy, but I like the builds.
These Pokemon models are really well done... you can tell what they are when you see them. Charizard, Garchomp, Mewtwo... in LEGO form.
OK, this just like has to be the best LEGO Pokemon, though... Gyarados is uber-impressive, as he's so large and detailed!
MegaMan is here in all of his various forms... and he's fighting lots of enemies! These scenes by Alatariel are stunning.
Unfortunately for this project, this has already been announced as a set. But this is a worthy model in its own right. This Corellian Defender comes from the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Here we have an original idea... transforming videogame stuff! The GameBoy can transform... and so can the GameGear... and so can the games! LEGO Robots or LEGO retro videogame models... Which is cooler?
Unfortunately I doubt this will pass Review seeing what happened to the other one, but this is a great ship. Really, an awesome build.
It's the King of Red Lions, from that classic GameCube game, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. This is on a smaller scale than other Zelda projects, but it's still epic!
Here we have a model based off the first level of "Fez." It's quite a clever build.
Finally, a Metroid project! This features Samus in minifigure form. It even includes her spaceship and enemies.
Yep, it's another Minecraft project. This one features lots of nice texture on top. It's too bad for this project that LEGO will be releasing an official one.
Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Minecraft... they're all pretty popular. But what about Sonic? Here's the classic Green Hill Zone, with Sonic in microscale. Pretty kool.
This is sorta cool, it's on a totally different scale, so everything's bigger. Nice builds.
The iconic Master Sword... something you can defeat evil with. It's pretty big, though of course not for swinging but for display.
This is MASSIVE... though it could be smoother.
Another Minecraft Nether... nice build, though.
Really cute and awesome. One of my favorite projects.
